How long does fitting take?

It shouldn't affect your cover negatively, and the added security may help — we provide an installation certificate you can pass on to your insurer, who may factor it into your premium.

What happens if I forget my PIN?

Can it be fitted to automatic gearboxes and vans?

Yes — the CAN-PHANTOM works with most modern vehicles with a CAN network, including automatics and vans, and can prevent the gearbox from operating as well as the engine from starting.

Is the device detectable by thieves?

No — it's concealed within the wiring loom and disguised as a standard automotive part. Its WiFi hotspot only activates in Maintenance Mode, so there's no ongoing signal to detect.

What's Valet Mode for?

If you're leaving your car for a service or with a valet, Valet Mode lets you temporarily disable the PIN requirement for a set time, or until the car exceeds a chosen speed — without ever sharing your code.
